B : 그럼요. 어떤 것을 갖다 드릴까요?

A : 소다와 얼음 곁들인 스카치요.

B : 곧 갖다드릴게요.

 

A : Excuse me. I would like another drink. 

B : Sure. What can I get you?

A : Scotch with soda and ice.

B : I'll be right back. 

 

A : 세관 신고서 작성하는 것을 도와주세요.

B : 이 목록에 적혀있는 모든 물품들에 대해 신고하시고 세금을 지불하셔야 돼요.

A : 규정량 이하의 물품들도 포함되나요?

B : 아니요, 안 하셔도 됩니다.

 

A : I need some help filling out this customs declaration. 

B : You have to declare and pay taxes on all items on this list. 

A : Does that include items below these amounts?

B : No, they don't need to be declared. 

 

A :  이제 곧 저녁 식사가 준비 될거에요. 닭고기와 돼지고기 중 어느 것이 좋으세요?

B : 어떤 음식과 곁들여지나요?

A : 치킨은 아스파라거스와 함께 나오고요. 돼지고기는 버섯요리와 곁들여져 나옵니다.

B : 그럼, 돼지고기로 부탁드려요.

 

A : Dinner will be served in a few minutes. Would you like chicken or pork?

B : What are they served with?

A : The chicken comes with asparagus, and the port comes with mushrooms. 

B : I'll have the pork, please. 

 

A : 이제 계약조건에 대해서는 합의를 봤으니, 계약서를 작성해야겠네요.

B : 네, 저희는 한국어와 영어로 된 계약서가 모두 필요해요.

A : 저희는 통역사와 변호사에게 의뢰하고 계약서를 팩스로 보내드릴게요.

B : 네, 그게 좋겠군요.

 

A : Now that we have come to an agreement on terms, we need to draw up a contract.  

B : Yes, we will need to have contracts in both Korean and English.

A : I can commission translators and attorneys and fax a contract to you.  

B : Yes, that will be acceptable. 

 

A : 계약기간에 대해서 논의해봐요.

B : 우리는 판매결과에 대해서 아직 모르기 때문에 짧은 기간만 계약했으면 해요. 

A : 6개월은 어때요?

B : 그게 좋겠군요. 판매결과가 좋으면 그때 다시 계약하도록 하지요. 

 

A : Let's discuss the duration of the agreement.  

B : We prefer a shorter-term agreement because we don't know about sales results.  

A : How about 6 months?

B : That sounds acceptable. We can renew the agreement if sales are high.
