A : 아, 마감이 주말로 미뤄졌거든요.

 

A : You can give me some of the questionnaires to work on?

B : Are you sure? I thought you had a deadline.

A : Well, the deadline has been moved back to the end of the week.

* 일정이 앞당겨지다 move back up

 

** 일정을 앞당길 수 있는지 알아봐.

See if you can get it moved up.

 

A : 보고서가 거의 다 끝나갑니다. 오늘 저녁에는 드릴 수 있을 것 같아요. 아니면, 검토할 시간을 저에게 오늘밤 주시면 내일 아침에 드릴 수 있고요.

B : 음. 전 가능한 한 빨리 봤으면 합니다. 그래야 필요한 사람들에게 보낼 수 있거든요.

A : 알겠습니다. 그럼, 오늘 저녁에 책상에 두겠습니다.

B : 그 말을 듣게 되어 좋네요.

 

A : I'm nearly done with the report. I can give it to you this evening. Or, if you'll give me tonight to go over it one more time. I can give it to you in the morning. 

B : Well, I need to look at it as soon as possible. So, I can send it to the people who need it. 

A : All right. Then, It'll be on your desk this evening. 

B : I'm glad to hear that. 

 

A : 이 보고서를 끝내기 위한 시간을 좀 더 주시겠어요?

B : 하지만 저는 당신이 거의 다 끝낸 줄 알았는데요. 

A : 예, 그랬었죠. 그런데 우리가 대학교에서 진행했던 조사 결과를 포함한다면 더 완벽한 보고서가 될 것 같아서요.

B : 오, 그렇겠네요. 좋아요. 우리는 그 보고서에 관해 한 주 더 시간을 쓸 수 있을 것 같네요.

 

A : Could you give me more time to finish this report?

B : But, I thought you were nearly done with the report.  

A : Yes, I was. But, I thought that the report would be more complete if we included the results of the surveys we conducted at the universities.  

B : Oh, right. You're absolutely right. I think we can afford to spend another week on that report.
