A : The traffic's probably going to be pretty heavy at this time.

B : All the more since it's the Friday rush hour.

A : It will be worse near the hotel. I suppose.

B : Well, let me see if I can get around it.

   - 차가 막히다

     There is a lot of traffic. = There is too much traffic.

     The traffic is heavy.

     There was a traffic jam.

     The traffic is bad.

     I got stuck in traffic for several hours.

     I got held up in traffic = I got caught in traffic.

     회사 앞 도로변이 크게 막혀있어. The road in front of my office was badly congested.

     차가 별로 안 막혔어 The traffic was light. = There wasn't much traffic.

     차가 꿈쩍도 안했어. The cars couldn't budge an inch.

     목적지갈 때까지 천천히 갔어. We inched forward until we reached our destination.

     교통 체증이 막힌 시간 rush hour
