B : 예, 맞아요. 당신 말처럼 전보다 더 바빠졌어요. 이번 주말에도 일을 집에 가져가서 해야해요.

A : 그렇군요. 다음에 함께하기로 해요.

B : 이번 주말에 당신과 함께하지 못해 죄송해요. 다음에 꼭 시간을 내보도록 약속할게요. 

 

A : How's business these days? You seem to be busier than ever. I'm just wondering if you have plans for the weekend.

B : Well, you're right when you say I'm busier than ever. I've got some work I'm bringing home this weekend.

A : Okay. Maybe we can get together some other time.

B : I'm really sorry I can't get together with you this weekend. I promise I'll make it up to you another day.

B : Mr. Rob Parnell와 통화하고 싶은데요.

A : 죄송합니다만 방금 나가셨어요. 메시지를 남겨드릴까요?

B : I would like to speak to Mr. Rob Parnell.

A : I'm sorry, but I belive he just stepped out of the office. Would you like to leave a message?

B : That's okay. I'll just call back in a little while. 

 

A : 마감일인 화요일까지 맞출 수 있을 것 같네요.

B : 어떻게 그렇게 맞출 수 있었죠?

A : It looks like we'll meet our Tuesday deadline.

B : How ever did you manage that?

A : Well, a little pushing here and there and a little steering on your part and mine, plus a lot of patience. All the ingredients needed for getting the job done.
