B : 네, 회사 축하파티에 가요. 멋진 호텔에서 열릴 거에요.

A : 오, 정말요? 응 마침 George Benson 콘서트 표 2장이 생겨서 같이 갈까 했거든요.

B : 미리 말하지 그랬어요. 정말 죄송하지만 오늘밤엔 같이 못 갈 것 같아요. 캐롤한테 같이 가자 물어보세요.

 

A : Are you going somewhere tonight?

B : Actually, yes, I'm going to a celebration party for my company. It's going to be held at a swank hotel. 

A : Oh, really? Hmm,, it just so happens I have two free tickets to a George Benson concert. I thought we could go together. 

B : You should have told me sooner. I'm really sorry, but I can't join you tonight. Maybe you can ask Carol to go with you.
