A : 지난해 우리가 고용한 주문 요리사가 정말 좋았어요.

B : 음식이 당신의 취향에 맞지 않다는 건가요?

A : 지난해의 식사가 훨씬 좋았어요.

B : 저는 음식이 그다지 나쁘지는 않다고 생각해요.

 

A : The caterer we used last year was excellent. 

B : Are you saying the food isn't to your liking?

A : The meal we had last year was certainly much better. 

B : I don't think the food is so bad. 

 

A : 퇴근하시나요?

B : 네, 저한테 물어볼 게 있으신가요?

A : 네, 사실은 저를 좀 태워주실 수 있는지 알고 싶어서요. 서쪽으로 가시면, 저를 시내에 있는 콜럼비아 대학교까지 태워주실 수 있나요?

B : 오, 물론이죠. 문제 없어요. 가는 길에 있어요.

 

A : Are you finished for the day?

B : Yes, is there something you wanted to ask me?

A : Well, actually I just wanted to know if you could give me a lift. If you're headed toward the west side, can you please take me uptown to Columbia University?

B : Oh, sure. No problem. It's along the way.

 

A : 이 건물은 무엇인가요?

B : 메트로 미술관이에요.

A : 문에 있는 큰 표지판에 그 곳은 폐쇄되었다고 쓰여있어요.

B : 그곳은 보수 중이에요.

 

A : What building is that?

B : It is the Metro Art Museum.

A : There is a huge sign on the door that says it's closed. 

B : It is undergoing renovation.
