A : 혼란스러워 보이는데, 뭐가 잘못됐어요?

B : 좀 전에 보고서를 읽고 있었거든요. 발표시간 전에 검토해봐야 하는데 어디에 두었는지 기억이 나지 않아요.

A : 그거 당신 책상 위에서 본 것 같아요.

B : 아니에요. 벌써 2번이나 확인했는 걸요. 아, 여기 연단 위에 있네요.

 

A : You look distracted. Is there anything wrong?

B : I was just reading a repot a while ago. I need to review it before the presentation, but I can't remember where I laid it down.

A : I believe I saw it on your desk.

B : No, I already checked twice. Here it is right on the podium.

 

A : 매출액에 따르면 회사가 잘 돌아가고 있는 것 같군요.

B : 음, 꼭 그렇지는 않습니다. 판매가 증가하고는 있지만, 우리가 기대한 만큼 인상적으로 증가하는 건 아니거든요.

A : 그럼, 언제 판매가 진짜 증가할 것이라고 생각하세요?

B : 음, 가까운 장래에 그럴 수 있길 기대해보죠.

 

A : The company seems to be doing okay. Judging from the sales figures, that is. 

B : Well, not quite. Sales are increasing, but it is not the dramatic jump we expected.

A : So, when do you think sales will ready go up?

B : Um, let's hope that happens sometime in the near future.
