아쉬움이 많이 남는다 

It leaves a lot ot be desired.

It leaves something to be desired.

그 영화는 아쉬움이 많이 남어. 그 영화를 보는 내내 시간이 아깝다고 생각했어.

The movie leaves a lot to be desired. I thought it was a waste of time throughout the entire movie. 

새 로고 디자인이 아쉽네. 내가 몇 달 동안 새 디자인을 학수고대했는데 말이야.

The new logo design... it leaves a lot to be desired to say that least. I've been looking forward to creating a new logo design for months.

다시 생각해보니, 학교생활에 아쉬움이 많이 남아. 난 너무 공부만 했어.

In retrospect(=Looking back), my school life leaves a lot to be desired. I only focused on studying.

이번 여행에 아쉬움이 많아. 더 많은 사람들을 만나고 사귈 수 있었는데.

장문 한영 훈련

딱히 얘기할 만한 거 없어. 모두가 코로나와 함께한 또 하나의 힘든 해였다는 것 외에는 별일 없었어. 나는 매년 거의 같은 식이야. 의욕과 목표가 가득한 상태로 한 해를 시작은 하는데, 끝까지 해내는 힘이 부족해서 결국 좀 더 이렇게 하고 저러지 말 걸 하는 아쉬움만 많이 남지. 근데, 너무 자책하지 않으려고, 나는 무엇을 잘 못했고, 무엇을 더 잘할 수 있었단 생각을 너무 많이 하면 스스로 동기부여를 시키기 더 힘들더라고.

There's not much to say. Not a lot has happened other than the fact that it's been another rough year with the pandemic for everyone. For me, it's pretty much the same every year. I start off the new year full of ambition and goals, but with not a lot of follow-through, it just ended up with a lot of you know I wish I had done more of this and less of that. But, I try not to be too hard on myself. I find it harder to motivate myself when I think too much about things I haven't done so well or things I could've done better.
