~하는 게 어때? 영어로 How about, Why don't we, What if, What do you say to

서로 의견을 공유할 때 많이 쓰는 ~하는 게 어때? How about~ing? 만 쓰지 말고, 여러 표현들 번갈아 써봐요. 그 외 간단하지만, 막상 영어로 쉽게 말하지 못하는 표현도 대화문을 통해 같이 익혀보자.

단일 문장 여러 표현 : ~하는 게 어때?

오늘 비 많이 오는데 다른 날로 날짜 바꾸는 게 어때?

How about rescheduling for another day? It is raining a lot today.

Why don't we reschedule for another day? It is pouring today.

What if we reschedule for another day? Because It is raining cats and dogs today. 

What do you say to rescheduling for another day? Now, it is lashing.

A : 뭐 먹을 거야?

B : 나 소고기 구운 거랑 야채랑 같이 먹어볼래. 먹어본 적은 없는데, 진짜 맛있다고 하더라고.

A : What are you having?

B : I'll try roast beef with vegetables. I've never had it before, but I heard it's really good.

 

* 먹다고 해서 꼭 eat를 안 써도 된다. What are you going to eat?, I'll try to eat 보다는 What are you having? I'll try이 자연스럽다.

 

A : 차 어디에 반납해야 되죠?

B : 우리 지점 어디에든 괜찮아요. 우리 지점은 미국 전역에 다 있어서 아무 곳에 갖다 주시면 되어요.

A : Where do I have to return a car? / Where can I drop off the car? / Where are your drop-stations located?

B : At any of our stores. Our stores are throughout US, and you are welcome to drop it off anywhere. 

 

* You are welcome to ~ : 네가 ~하는 거 괜찮아. 좋아.

* A가 ~ 전역에 있다. A be throughout ~, A be all over ~

전기차 충전소는 이미 한국 전역에 다 있어.
